I LOVE hearing stories of people actually taking care of the Earth. That is the goal of HOST, to educate people, gently lol on things. Some people just don't care. But then there are some that honestly do not know 'cos they follow big media sites who tell you what THEY want you to hear. Not what the truth is. There was a show I watched years ago, had to do w/ accumulation of trash. We throw one thing out here & there, & don't pay a mind to it. But when you see it in a month's, a year's worth, you realize, Wow, I am contributing to the landfill problem!

Yes so many people are either uneducated or possibly don't care which is so frustrating. Recently i've started picking up discarded plastic bottles, tin cans etc while i'm out and taking them home to put in the recycling, but it's a drop in the ocean and until we just stop using these materials I don't believe we will ever reduce this problem

I believe every little bit can help. If everybody helped, it'd add up fast. We live on acreage in the country. I even have a bucket w/ a stick to pick up trash that is in our immediate area.

Yeah, if everybody started caring and pitched in, we could get this done!
Every little bit would do wonders:-)

Education is great. You always have to make sure you are learning what is right and not what somebody wants you to believe.
